Understanding and communicating EU decision-making

The course will explain the European legislative procedure, focusing in particular on the role of the European Parliament. Its aim is to raise awareness among young students about the European citizenship’s duties and rights.
To this end, the Chair will also support the students that participate in the Model European Parliament, namely an interactive exercise among different European High-Schools where the negotiation of a resolution of the European Parliament is simulated.
In 2023/2024 the Chair's Staff was involved in the activities of the Model European Parliament.
December 21st, 2023: first session with the students' committees
January 11th, 2024: second session with the students' committees
February 16th-17th, 2024: plenary session and project conclusion
